VERE Optical Breadboards are 3/16" thick ALUMINUM skins laminated to a nonmetallic honeycomb core. The core has 3/8" honeycomb cells with inherent broadband energy absorption, eliminating the need for additional internal dampers to suppress the resonance found in metal cores. The breadboard is coated in an anti-reflective black finish.
This unit has Tapped 1/4-20 Holes with a 1" CTC (Center to Center)grid pattern.
General specifications:
Flatness: 0.007" over 1' cumulative distance.
Core: 2” thick, vertically bonded, non-metallic, 3/8" honeycomb cell with inherent broadband energy absorption
Holes: Sealed with a polymeric film that punctures when used, allowing the full depth of the breadboard to be used. Accidental spills would be contained inside the exposed 3/8”x2” honeycomb cells and easily removed with a stiff tip syringe.
